Dowling General Construction
Dowling General Construction was started in 1977 by Fred Dowling in London Ontario where he resides and continues this business today.
In 2020 the Alberta division of Dowling General Construction was formed. It is owned and operated by Billy Dowling and continues on a proud heritage that Dowling General Construction has earned over the last 43 years.
In 2011 Billy Dowling Graduated from Fanshawe College in London, Ontario with an Advanced Diploma in Construction Engineering Management from there he went on to pursue a career in Firefighting graduating From Fire ETC in Vermilion AB.
Billy was a Firefighter for 7 years with Canada’s Largest Oil and Gas Company in Fort McMurray. In 2019 he Accepted a job with a municipal fire department in the Calgary area.
After years of doing his own projects and using the knowledge, he learned not only in his schooling but in his lifetime of experience working for his family business he decided to start the Alberta Division of Dowling General Construction.
- Holds an Advanced Diploma in Construction Engineering & Management.
- Currently manages several million dollars of real estate.
- Currently completing a Bachelor of Business in Emergency Services.
- Alberta College of Paramedics certified Primary Care Paramedic.
- Dowling is also NFPA certified, a wildfire mitigation specialist.
- Firefighter and wild-land firefighter and has technician level certification in multiple rescue disciplines.
